Electrical Engineering Lab Experiments

Commencing from the third semester of the academic program, courses are held in the teaching laboratories, the first two in the Basic Experiments Laboratory.

The first course (third semester) is Electrical Engineering Laboratory 1A (044157) and is compulsory in all tracks.

The laboratory includes nine sessions of 4 hours each (as well as preparations for the experiment as required). The array of experiments includes:

Experiments in the analog field

  • Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment
  • Building and researching passive electronic circuits and basic switching circuits

All experiments will be designed, simulated, and compared to measurements

Digital experiments

  • Digital hardware design using graphic tools and elite language
  • Design in System Verilog
  • Simulation and debugging
  • Introduction to Digital Communication and Graphics
  • A concluding experiment in the format of a mini-project: design, construction, and operation of a hierarchical graphical digital system.

The experiments emphasize a systemic approach and familiarity with the development process of a complete electronic system.

In the fifth semester of studies, the course is given Laboratory in Electrical Engineering 1B (044158) (compulsory in the electrical and computer engineering, electrical-physics tracks)

The laboratory includes six sessions of 4 hours each (as well as preparation for the experiment as required).

The array of experiments includes:

Experiments in the physical field

  • Semiconductor circuit analysis
  • Diodes, transistors and transistor circuits

Experiments in the analog field

  • In-depth knowledge of laboratory equipment
  • Server Amplifier and its Uses
  • Sampling theory and filters
  • Analog computer
  • All experiments will be designed, simulated, and compared to measurements

In addition, a concluding experiment will be conducted in the format of a mini-project: design, construction, and operation of a complex analog system.
