Overview

Technion International Ph.D. Excellence Program is designed to attract the best and the brightest candidates with research experience to study and research at the Technion. The fellows of the program will have the opportunity to conduct research under the supervision of renowned researchers.

The program will provide a globally-focused curriculum to help students develop a strong foundation in research, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in various fields at The Andrew and Erna Viterbi Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, The Henry and Marilyn Taub Faculty of Computer Science and the Faculty of Data and Decision Sciences.

The Technion offers this unique opportunity to enable students to become first-class researchers and to harness their potential to be the leaders of tomorrow by leveraging the world-class technology provided by one of the most highly-ranked research institutions in the world in various emerging trends and technologies. Additionally, the fellows will be offered the opportunity to participate in international research collaborations and internships under co-advisorship at the Technion’s Cornell campus in New York.

Eligibility and Requirements

Application Documents

Online application – incl. all necessary documents:

  • Transcript of Grades
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Proof of Research Experience
  • Letters of Recommendation (2 or 3)
  • Statement of Purpose
  • Degree Certificate
  • GRE (if relevant)

Candidates should specify three supervisors from three faculties in order of their preference (co-advisors could be specified by candidates from Cornell but the main advisor should be from the Technion), if there is no initial match, assistance will be provided)

Each student will be enrolled in one of the three faculties
