The ECE Faculty congratulates faculty member Dr. Haggai Maron on receiving a 2026 recognition award from the Israeli Association for Computer Science. The award honors early-career faculty members for research excellence and outstanding achievements in computer science. Dr. Maron is one of four recipients this year.
Dr. Maron’s research focuses on deep learning for structured data with symmetries, including graphs, point clouds, and weight spaces. His work combines theoretical analysis with practical applications. His previous honors include an Outstanding Paper Award at ICML 2020, an Alon Fellowship in 2024, and an ERC Starting Grant in 2026.
