Congratulations to Professor Daniel Soudry for joining the Israeli Young Academy and for his excellence in the research field.

The members of the Academy are young researchers from the world’s top ranks, committed to strengthening science in Israel. They are selected based on research excellence and are committed to advancing science in Israel and increasing the academic system’s involvement in Israeli society.

Dr. Soudry’s research focuses on the intersection of neuroscience and machine learning. Dr. Soudry earned his bachelor’s degree with extra honors in electrical engineering and physics and a doctorate in the direct track at the Center for the Study of Biological Networks under the guidance of Prof. Ron Meir, all from Technion. After completing a postdoctoral fellowship at Columbia University in New York, he joined the Viterbi Faculty of Electrical Engineering in October 2017.

We congratulate him on his acceptance into the Young Academy, a testament to his professional achievement and valuable contributions to the research field. We wish him all the best in his academic pursuits and future research endeavors.
