Congratulations to Tamir Shpiro for Winning Third Place and the “Audience Favorite” Award at the Jacobs Graduate Research Day 2024

We are pleased and proud to congratulate Tamir Shpiro, who won third place and the “Audience Favorite” award at the Jacobs Graduate Research Day 2024. Tamir managed to impress both the judges and the audience with his innovative and original research.

Tamir’s win of third place and the “Audience Favorite” award is a testament to his remarkable achievements and his ability to present his research in an interesting and inspiring manner. Tamir’s research, titled “Free-Electron Computed Tomography of Near Fields” (under the supervision of Prof. Ido Kaminer), introduces new approaches and creative solutions in the field of computed tomography of near fields using free electrons.
