How Do Robots Learn to Solve Tasks?

In the CRML – Control Robotics and Machine Learning Lab led by Prof. Aviv Tamar, researchers explore how to teach robots to perform complex tasks.
Prof. Tamar and his team focus on developing artificial intelligence that integrates sensors with robotic actions, enabling robots to respond to changes and learn through trial and error.
These tasks, inspired by industrial challenges, include precise assembly, where robots utilize vision capabilities and smart systems to optimize their performance.
The goal: robots that adapt to dynamic environments, execute complex tasks, and perhaps, in the future, take over tedious, daily, or hazardous jobs at home and in industry.
