Completion Requirements for Students

In some cases candidates will be accepted under a “required to complete prerequisite courses” status. The requirements (different for four-year track and three-year track graduates -see below,) will include taking courses, as determined by the GSC that they must complete without failing, with a GPA that will be determined by the GSC.

  1. Completion Requirements for Graduates of a 4 year study-track:
As a rule, the required courses are courses from the undergraduate or the joint undergraduate – graduate curriculum, that are prerequisite for graduate level courses in the students’ area of expertise, according to the GSC’s recommendation. Regarding graduate level courses – including them in the completion program as part of the degree requirements, will be based on GSC’s recommendation. The Admission Committee will take into consideration recommendations of intended / permanent advisors, and any outstanding academic distinction.
  2. Completion Requirements for Graduates of a 3 year study-track:
As a rule, the required courses are courses from the undergraduate or joint undergraduate – graduate curriculum, at a scope of at least 24 credits that are prerequisites for graduate level courses in the students’ area of expertise, according to the GSC’s recommendation. These completion courses will not be accredited as credit points for the graduate study program. The Admission Committee will take intended / permanent advisor’s recommendations into consideration. In cases of applicants with outstanding accomplishments, the committee may recommend to reduce the completion requirements, or recommend graduate level courses as part of the completion requirements.
