QUAD – Quantum and Ultrafast Advanced Devices Lab

ECE Women Community

Research Laboratory

The Quantum and Ultrafast Advanced Devices (QUAD) lab at the Technion focuses on developing devices based on novel states of matter for quantum technologies. This research is highly interdisciplinary as it involves deep understanding of the physics behind these phenomena, and applying it to practical devices which will make the basis of the technology in coming decades. We study these fields in two, state of the art laboratories, equipped with cryogenic systems, ultrafast high-power lasers and sophisticated electronics.

Other research areas: Super-conductivity, Semi-conductivity, matter-light interaction
