Research and Teaching Laboratory
The lab has parallelism at its core, but this is applied in a variety of context. These include computing systems, storage systems, and venture as far as the study of parallel and distributed Electric-Vehicle charging stations and networks. Infrastructure (hardware and software) and important applications are jointly considered, with performance and efficiency being the key measures. Activities are often multi-disciplinary, experimenting with “out of the box” ideas and approaches. In general, we take a goal-oriented approach, motivated by important real problems and challenges.
