Prof. Anat Levin won the ERC Consolidator grant from the European Commission for Research

Prof. Anat Levin receives the grant for SpeckleCorr – a new technology for characterizing materials, for fluorescent imaging in the depth of biological tissue and more.

This technology is expected to influence medicine as well as the analysis and creation of materials.

This year, 4 researchers from the Technion won grants, which is an annual record for the Technion in this track.

The European Research Commission (ERC) grants are considered the flagship to encourage excellence in science under the Horizon Europe Research and Development Framework Program.

They are designed to support researchers who come up with pioneering and groundbreaking research ideas in the formative stages of the research team and work plan.
