Admission to the MSc in Electrical Engineering, or MSc in Sciences degree program:
Only the following candidates can apply for the MSc in Electrical Engineering program: Candidates who hold a BSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or computer and Software Engineering from the Technion or another accredited High Education Institution.
Only the following candidates can apply for the Masers of Science program:
Candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree from the Technion or another accredited High Education Institution, from or scientific faculties (physics, mathematics, computer science) or from engineering faculties, who are not graduates of Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or Computer and Software Engineering.
Applicants must comply with one of the following requirements:
1. Their undergraduate studies’ GPA is at least 90.
2. Their undergraduate studies’ GPA is at least 86, and they enclosed additional documents (for more information about required supporting documentation, please contact the faculty Graduate Secretariat) indicating research capabilities, were considered by the Admission Committee and were accepted by the GSC.
3. They comply with the requirements for transferring from advanced studies to graduate studies (see below a paragraph about admission to graduate studies through the Continuing Advanced Education Campus).
4. They comply with the requirements for the MEE without thesis track, submitted a research topic with an EE advisor, who is willing to supervise their research / project / final paper. Students can transfer to the research-track as soon as their MEE research program is approved.
Applicants who cannot commit to studying full-time (i.e., not working outside of the Technion) will be accepted to the MEE (without thesis) program. Admission to a research study-track with thesis, will only very rarely be approved for students who are not full-time, or do not comply with requirements 1-3.
